Description : Festivals form an essential aspect of socio cultural life of the people of Arunachal Pradesh. Among all the festivals of the State, the Bori Boot Festival is one of the major traditional festival which is exclusively celebrated by the Hill Miris tribe. The Hill Miris society celebrates this festival on a community basis from 6th to 8th February of every year for three consecutive days.
