Naharlagun – Dangoriya Baba Mandir (Siva Temple) at Bordumsa was inaugurated by Minister of Health & Family Welfare Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Shri C.C. Singpho on February 1, 2005. The Murthi Asthana Ceremony was performed highly learned priests who were invited from Haryana. The Ceremony included the Yagya. Aarti and offering of prayer in the newly constituded Temple which was attended by the Changlang D.C. Shri T. Tapok, with other hig ranking officers, businessmen. Public leaders and thousand of devotees. While addressing the gathering Shri C.C. Singpho expressed his satisfaction and joy for the Temple and adviced the peoples to keep the mandir clean. Commitment and co-operation from all corner had made this possible by which a long felt desire of the peoples of Bordumsa have been fulfilled and with the Dangoriya Baba amidst them, good fortune would surely knock the doors of the local populace, added Singpho. In his speech the D.C. exhorted the people to respect each others religion and lauded the Bordumsa people of showing a perfect example of secularism. Later Mr Sharma, ADC, Maio stressed on building a boundary wall around the temple in order to protect the hole temple from stray animals. He also promised to donate Rs.60000/-(Rupees Sixty Thousand) for the said purpose and requested the peoples to come forward voluntarily and donate for the hole purpose. Hindu devotees from the nearby areas thronged the temple to offer their prayers.
