Naharlagun: The Gandhi suspension bridge over the Siang near Yingkiong  capsized due to breakdown of suspender cable, reports DIPRO. The main life line between Yingkiong and Moying connecting five administrative circles, Tuting subdivision and left bank of the Siang the 370 mtrs long bridge was in bad shape. The local PWD has pressed its manpower and resources to repair the bridge and restore the communication. Meanwhile the Upper Siang district administration has prohibited the crossing of the bride till the restoration is completed.
