Naharlagun, March 15- The World Consumer Rights day was observed today at Bomdila.To mark the occasion a meeting cum exhibition, highlighting the significance of the day was organized which was participated by the officers, public leaders, shopkeepers and the villagers, reports DIPRO Bomdila. The members present actively participated in the proceedings and unanimously resolved to commit oneself to be an alert consumer and to adopt the policy guidelines of the consumers. The meeting also emphasized that one should be aware of what he is buying and should look for the expiry date and always insist on cash memos& receipts among others. Earlier, the Inspector Legal Metrology while welcoming the gathering on the occasion highlighted the aims and objectives and the importance of the day, the report added.
