Naharlagun, Feb17 - The PWD Minister Shri Nabum Tuki has inaugurated a steel bridge over Nongnung Nallah under Lekang circle under Lohit District on February 14, last. Constructed by the Public Works Department at Rs 51.16 Lakhs, the bridge will connect old Mohong village with other parts of Lekang Circle, reports DIPRO Tezu. Addressing on the occasion,  the Minister assured to consider the people's genuine grievances which were reflected in a memorandum by the people of the area. Participating on the occasion, the Education Minister, Chowna mein , who is also the local MLA of the constituency, apprised Shri Tuki of the problems faced by the people for want of road communication and requested the Minister to look into their difficulties. Later the Shri Tuki visited Bordumsa and attended the Swapwang Yawang Manaupoi festival of the Singpho community along with other dignitaries on the same day.
