Seppa March, 30 - The Tax and Excise department conducted a dealers consultation workshop on value added tax (VAT) here in the officers club on today , East Kameng Deputy Commissioner Shri Bidul Tayeng, attended the function as chief guest in his speech Shri Tayeng told the gathering about the passing of the Arunachal Pradesh goods Tax bill 2005 and advised the traders to have an interaction in the workshop to have a clear and complete picture of value added tax (VAT). He also agreed that in the initial stage there mast be some problems for the traders to adust to the new system but it will be all over within two to three months period , he added. Shri Anki Noker, Supdt. Tax and Excise spearing as the resource reference all detail about VAT and its differenc with Arunachal Pradesh sales Tax step by step. The workshop was attended by large number of businessmen , govt. employees and general public.
