NAHARLAGUN, June 1- The Governing Body meeting of DRDA, Upper
Subansiri District, Daporijo was held on 31st May,2005 at Singik Hall, Daporijo
under the chairmanship of Smti Yater Nasi, Chairperson Zilla Parishad, Upper
Subansiri District. In her key note address, she stressed on practical
development & proper utilization of fund for the poorest of the poor people
of rural areas. She urged upon all the PR leaders/BDOs and field functionaries
for the proper implementation of centrally sponsored schemes.
Shri Goken Basar,Deputy
Commissioner-cum-CEO, DRDA, Upper Subansiri District, Daporijo urged upon the
all PR leaders/filed functionaries/BDOs/DRDAs to be sincere in their duties
& implement poverty alleviation programme properly, judiciously for the
greater interest of the down trodden people of the upper Subansiri District.
Further he stressed on creation of durable assets by taking advantage for taking
central fund meant for rural poor people and it should be a model example for
other parts of the country. Shri T. Dakpe, Project Director-cum-Member
Secretaryreadout the annually performance report under various programme of DRDA,
Daporijo both physical and financial achievement for the year 2004-2005. All
ZPMs/HoDs also participated during the discussion, reports DIPRO,i/c Daporijo.
