DC STRESSES ON PROPER DEMARCATION OF SCHOOL BOUNDARY
ALONG, Oct 3-The West Siang Deputy Commissioner, Tope Bam has laid
special stress on proper demarcations of school boundaries to put them on
official record, reports DIPRO. while inaugurating a school building at New
Daring on October 2nd last, Bam said that effort in this direction
should be initiated by the teachers and backed by administrative and societal
effort. He appealed the public to cooperate with the teaching community and
urged the teachers to struck to their assigned tasks of creating a conducive
atmosphere for teaching and learning to shape destinies of younger generation.
Speaking to the people at a thickly attended public meeting, the DC appealed the
villages to come to terms on any developmental aspects without any differences.
The institution of Goan Burah continues to retain it age old prestige and
sanctity and urged GBs to deliver justice at their level without dragging most
of the cases at district and court, he said Responding to public memorandum
submitted by Konya Riba Ex.ASM and organizer pertaining to repair and extension
of classroom and water supply problem at Daring Secondary school, the DC assured
to take up with concerned department. He further appreciated the efforts of
organizing committee to organize such function befitting Gandhi Jayanti. The SDO
Basar,Shri Tai Kaye also addressed the people on the occasion.The Chief Accounts
Officer PWD and local officer of the area, Shri M.Chiram, Anchal Chairperson
Kenpu Chiram, BBCI President Likabali Shri Jumke Riba and HGB Iri Riba spoke in
length on problems faced by the local people of Daring Circle as a whole. The
traditional songs, dances and other entertainments formed part of the day long
programme, the report added.
