Naharlagun:- In a historic judgment on April 4 last, the court of Deputy Commissioner & Ex- officio - District & sessions judge, Lower Subansiri District, Ziro held the accused Hasta Bahadur Rai guilty under section- 302 IPC for murdering his wife late Smti Bimla Rai in their rent house at khula line, Yazali during 2004.The Court convicted the accused to life imprisonment. The offence was committed on August 9 ,2004 and the case was registered at Yazali P.S. and investigated by Sub Inspector T.Bage and prosecuted by M.N.Bharali. Meanwhile in another case of 1990
accused Nido Tajum was held guilty and convicted under section 352 and 457 IPC.
