Tawang Mar 9:- The District Fishery Department of Tawang, has made an achievement in producing 39,400 Nos of brown trout seeds through artificial means at mini Govt Trout Hatchery Farm at Nuranang during the current financial year 2005-06 .Reports DIPRO. Shri Tagi Yonggam , Distt. Fishery Dev.Officer, Tawang stated that the breeding started during the month of October 2005 last and finally hatched out in the first week of January 2006 after an incubation period of 78-79 days in the ova house. The trout fish seeds produced is being reared in the nursery pond and by first week of April, the seeds will be released in the Nuranang stream and other high altitude lakes of the district in order to propagate the trout fishery in all the captive water bodies of the district. He also acknowledge that all the intending buyers of trout fish seeds in the state as well as from other north eastern states may place their indent for supply of trout fish seeds latest by 15th March 2006 for necessary arrangement from the deptt.
