PASIGHAT, March 10 : The State Commissioner for PWD & Home, K.K. Sharma has said that the district officers have a great role in the uplift of the society and change the life of the people. Shri Sharma was on a one day visit to the district of East Siang on March 9 last, Reports DIPRO.

In an interactive meeting with the district heads of offices, he said the state with its vast geographical area and diversity need 
effective implementation of programmes & policies. Expressing concern on developing work culture, the commissioner said the govt has great 
expectation from its officials.

The commissioner dwelt on various issues like , creation of new posts, bird flu, excess casual labourers, connectivity of interior areas 
through wireless, telephones, disaster management, Apex Bank crisis etc.

During his stay at Pasighat, Sharma inspected Mebo-Dhola Road, Judicial Lockup, Juvenile Home building, Kendriya Vidyalaya, J.N College 
& Raneghat Bridge.

The Officers shared their problems and ground realities with the commissioner, the report added.
