Naharlagun:- An institutional training on Integrated Pest Management under Macro Management was organized at the Farmer's Training Centre, Pasighat on May 7 last. The training was attended by Field Officers of D.T.O, F.T.C, Pasighat, Principal, G.T.C., Pasighat Agronomist and highly progressive farmers of East Siang District. The experts from the College of Horticulture and Forestry, Pasighat attended the programme as the resource persons, reports DIPRO Pasighat. 

The aim and objective of the training programme was highlighted by the D.T.O., F.T.C, Pasighat. The farmers expressed their satisfaction over the motto of the training as because the training was mainly based on the Ecological apposed, which is very important on the part of every citizen to know about the adverse effect of the Chemical Pesticides on the lives of human being as well as on all the living creatures of the nature as on the soils, water and air, the report added.
