Naharlagun, June 14:-    Very soon Tezu is going to be the next outstation after Itanagar with  Computerised  Reservation  System for railway tickets. This was finalized on   June 11 by Senior Officers of N.F. Railway and District Administration in a meeting where District Officers headed by Deputy Commissioner Lohit P.S. Lokhande and W.K. Pradhan, Divisional Regional Manager N.F Railway and his team of Officers attended reports DIPRO Tezu.

                 Expressing happiness over sanctioning of the PRS outstation here, Deputy Commissioner P.S. Lokhande informed that the facility would benefit innumerable staff  and personnel of BRO, Army and Paramilitary organizations besides civilians of Lohit and other adjoining districts. He assured to extend all support such as deputation of staff, building and other necessities for the scheme, adding that, he would endevour to get it functioning at the earliest possible.

                Divisional Regional Manager, W.K. Pradhan  who led the  8 member  Railway Officers team, informed that Railways would provide for staff  training, computer facilities, besides fund required  for building modifications. He appealed all to Co-operate Railways for proper functioning of the System.

                 Among others subjects discussed  were internet connection, training of staff in computerised   reservation system, procurement of a standby power generator etc in which both District Officers and the visiting Officers participated.
