Yupia June 18. The district administration has clarified on the issue of Itanagar shop closure on June 17 that shopkeepers themselves are to owe the responsibility for lost incurred in form of sell proceeding of the bandh day. This was told to 21 AIMWA workers including contesting candidates of AIMWA election, attended the meeting with non tribal businessmen where they were told the likely incur of loss. It should be wise on part of members of markets to reason themselves that shutting of shops naturally negate the profit and sale of goods. The district administration stated this in response to press statement of Local MLA that appeared in local dailies of June 18.
Papum Pare D.C. B. Gadi has thanked the N.Lakhimpur D.Cs for rescuing Tata Sumo passengers of Itanagar at Boginadi bridge point from the physical harassment at the hands of misled local
Assamese, citing an alleged incident of man handing of two Assamese at Banderdewa on June 15. The D.C, and S.P Papum Pare immediately deputed liaison officer EAC Kimin and police officers to liaise with counterparts and accordingly solved the issue on the spot. This has resulted out of the recent administrative friendship developed on principle of good neighborly administration in between two people.
