Naharlagun April 25 :- The District Level Training workshop on Fifth Economic Census 2005 of Lower Subansiri district was held at its headquarter Ziro on April, 21 last, reports DIPRO Ziro. Addressing the workshop, the Deputy Commissioner- Cum- Deputy Economic Census Commissioner, Ziro Shri Kaling Tayeng categorically emphasized on
the importance of conducting economic census and stressed for qualitative and accurate collection of data for proper assessment of socio- economic condition of the masses in the district. Shri Tayeng further sought the cooperation of the people to the field functionaries of Census to make it a success.

In his Keynote address, Shri B. Bhattacharjee, SO (EC), Itanagar highlighted the aims and objectives of the census. He also imparted training on details procedures of census operation like filling up house list schedule, enterprise schedule, enterprise abstract and address slip to all attending charged officers, supervisors and enumerators at the workshop training.
While extending vote of thanks, Shri Nani Sambiyo, DSO-cum-Assistant Economic Census Commissioner expressed his happiness over the presence of all charge officers, supervisors and enumerators. He too appealed the general public for giving full co-operation to field officials while visiting their houses and enterprises for successful coverage of all households and enterprises. The training was participated by all the Economic Census charge officers of respective circles, supervisors and enumerators of Ziro Sadar circles, the report added.
