Naharlagun May 28- The Minister Civil Supplies, Health and Family Welfare Shri C.C. Singpho has paid a two day official visit to the district of Tirap on May 24 & 25 last, reports DIPRO Khonsa. Speaking to the officers at the circuit house, Khonsa Shri Singpho called upon them to work sincerely for rapid economic prosperity of the
area and added that the government is alive to the problem of the people of Tirap. He further expressed serious concern over the newspaper reports regarding gross anomalies in PDS under Civil Supplies and asked the District Supply Officer to be extra cautious while distributing the PDS items in the district. Shri Singpho further assured to post more doctors to the district shortly.

The Deputy Commissioner, District Medical Officer, DSO (Supply) apprised the minister about the various pressing problems faced by the general public and the government departments of the district, the report added.
