Naharlagun May 28- The Government Film and Television Institute, Bangalore under the aegis of the Department of Technical Education, Government of Karnataka has invited applications for the course of Diploma in - 1) Cinematography and 2) Sound Recording & Engineering Courses from the eligible candidates for admission during the year 2005-2006.

A message from the Principal, Government Film and Television Institute, Bangalore informed that earlier since its inception, the admission was restricted to the candidates from the state of Karnataka only, but the new order of the government of Karnataka has extended the admissions to the aforesaid courses to the candidates from the other states also from the session 2005-06 with 50% seat reservation and fee structure of Rs 11,500 plus.

It would be a golden opportunity for learning professional courses with government certificates in various categories like- Film & T.V. production, Direction, Cinematography, Video Editing (non- Linear), Sound Recording, Videography, Acting, Make- up, Still Photography, Film Appreciation, Script Writing and Stage & TV Anchoring with professional equipments, excellent faculty, Library facility, sophisticated infrastructure and above all in attractive course fee. The courses would be delivered in association with the Karnataka Film Technical Training Centre, Bangalore.
