               Lt. Gen Ranjit Singh, SM, Director General Border Roads accompanied by Brig P.K. Sehgal, Chief Engineer, Project Vartak, visited 44 BRTF Sector in West Siang and Upper Subansiri Districts of Arunachal Pradesh on 04 & 05 April 2004 . During the visit, he inspected the roads which are strategically very important in the area.

               The Director General Border Roads inaugurated Tato - Mechuka road which is a great milestone for the people of Mechuka. It will facilitate echo friendly development of the area. At the inaugural function, the Director General Border Roads thanked the Army and the Civil Administration as well as the People of Mechuka for their help and co-operation to the Border Roads Organisation.
