DREE FESTIVAL OBSERVED

The Dree festival of the Apatani was observed at Bomdila by the community posted at Bomdila with full gaiety on 6th July 2003. Large numbers of officers, officials and public attended the function.

Dr. Dani Duri, DMO, President, Dree Festival Committee, Bomdila while read out the significant of the festival, he said that it is occasion when the Apatani community offers prayers to almighty for bumper harvest.

A colourful cultural programme was presented on the occasion. A dinner was also hosted.
