One hundred and seventy-four candidates appeared for twenty-eight assistant teacher posts under Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan in West Kameng district. The interviews were held at Bomdila for candidates of Dirang, Nafra and Bomdila blocks and at Rupa for those from Bhalukpong, Thrizino, Kalaktang and Rupa areas. The board at Bomdila was chaired by Mr. H.Rajesh Prasad, Deputy Commissioner, Bomdila with Mr. NBC Chaije, DAEO, Bomdila as its member secretary which the interview board at Rupa was chaired by Mrs. Y.W.Ringu, ADC, Bomdila along with Mr. R.K.Gupta, DDSE as the member secretary. Mr.R.K.Gupta, DDSE, Bomdila informed that a total of two hundred and five persons had filled the forms for the walk in interview. The candidates having Class XI pass to postgraduate degrees also appeared in it. He added that only the Schedule Tribe candidates of the district were allowed to appear for the interview.
